I came across Design Spark Mechanical quite by accident - it didn't seem to feature on any of the usual lists of "Best CAD for 3D printing" etc and having used it for a few days I am very puzzled as to why. I posted a recent thread looking for alternatives to the common browser-based CAD programs ( I want something local) as well as Fusion 360 as I didn't trust the AutoCAD "Free for personal use" approach and found the program very slow to load and authenticate even on a powerful PC.
